Whether you’re a seasoned gun owner or simply curious about firearms and self-defense, the San Diego / Escondido Gun Show offers a welcoming and educational environment for the entire family. Gun Owners Radio and GunTVShows, with USCCA as the title sponsor, is excited to bring this event to the San Diego community. Held on September 7-8, 2024, at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, this event features a wide array of activities, including engaging symposium talks, hands-on classes, and interactive exhibits like the firearm simulator.
Since being banned in 2019 from the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the San Diego Gun Show returned to San Diego last year and continues to grow. With the addition of the Gun Owners Symposium, in-person classes, and other attractions like the kids’ safety classes, the event has become an amazing resource for the community to learn about self defense in addition to providing a unique shopping experience and an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals.
Shop for Great Deals & Finds on the Exhibitor Floor
A great thing about hosting the event in Second-Amendment-friendly Escondido is that firearms will be available for sale, in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Attendees can bring their own unloaded and secured firearms as well, for a class, or if they want to shop for a holster or other accessories.
Enjoy a Gun Owners Symposium Talk
Join a thought-provoking talk at the Gun Owners Symposium! The Symposium features two full days of talks from all-star experts and thought leaders, free for all attendees. Each talk is about 30-40 minutes long and you can also win some prize giveaways!
Topics covered include legal updates, mental health & gun ownership, how to get your CCW, kids’ gun safety, first-hand testimony of stopping a mass shooter, women & minority gun ownership, and a talk from the Escondido mayor, Dane White!
The Symposium is hosted on the second floor, up the stairs or elevator at the end of the entry hallway.
Learn New Skills at an In-Person Class
Classes around home defense, rifle gear selection & basics, firearm maintenance, dry fire training, and off-grid communications are all available. Spaces are limited so early registration is strongly recommended.

Teach Kids Gun Safety with the Kids Safe Foundation
Derek LeBlanc, founder of the Kids Safe Foundation, will be part of the show, bringing his inflatable BB Gun Range for the kids (young AND OLD)! If you want to protect kids from drowning, you teach them how to swim. Likewise, if you want kids safe around guns, educate them and teach them proper gun safety. Derek will also be doing a talk at the Symposium on teaching the next generation how to protect the Second Amendment and also hosting a FREE class on Kids Gun Safety.
